We focus on functional training through reeducation of muscle systems with a triplanar strengthening program, to simulate everyday activities specific to each client. Open/closed kinetic chain techniques are used with isometric/isotonic exercises. We also offer isokinetic (Cybex) evaluation/training. Sport specific exercises are given according to individual lifestyle.

Personal Health Services
Rehabilitation Works recognizes unique health needs that are not often addressed by traditional therapy. Our therapists have worked to obtain the knowledge and skills required to address personal issues. We can assist you in regaining control through use of exercise, manual therapy, relaxation education and other specialized techniques. Each program is customized to meet your individual needs in a very private and comfortable environment.
Urinary Incontinence
Urinary incontinence is the involuntary leakage of urine that may occur while coughing, sneezing or during a strong sudden urge to urinate. Urinary incontinence can affect men and women of all age and should not be accepted as a normal part of growing older. This program helps train weak or overly tight muscles and will retrain the bladder. Treatment may include: exercise, biofeedback, soft tissue release and learning ways to use muscles correctly in everyday activities.
Pelvic Pain Disorders
Some of you suffer with pelvic pain and tension conditions that greatly interfere with normal activities. The pain in these conditions maybe felt in the vaginal/rectal region, lower abdomen or pelvis. Physical therapists with advanced training in pelvic pain rehabilitation will identify your individual needs. Treatment may include: pelvic floor relaxation techniques, biofeedback and other special techniques.
Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis is a condition in which there is a loss of bone density, causing the bones to become weak and fragile. Physical therapy will include education to improve safety and prevent falls.

Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition with widespread musculoskeletal pain, commonly including problems with sleep disturbance, generalized stiffness and fatigue.
